Hi Ron, thanks for mentioning Rubinia Soulsinger. I thought, "I have that card!" and was happy to hear she's WBG (three of my favorite colors to play) _and_ she has a very cool ability. I just pulled her out of my Chronicles box. I'll check out the EDH rules and see if I can put a deck together, it sounds like a lot of fun.

Hey, Ron! I really like your show and listen to it whenever I go out delivering pizzas. I like the show as it is now but have some suggestions if you're open to them.
Have a "Combo of the week" in which listeners send in their thoughts of great 2-3 card combos from type II and announce your thoughts on each of them.
I'm kinda new to magic but I'm quickly picking it up so maybe my thoughts have been done before and I'm just repeating old thoughts.
Also, its seems like there are a ton of cards out there with abilities to reveal cards to your opponent (clash for example) and yet I haven't come across any cards that would play off this. Cards I'm look for would be like "If this card is revealed from your hand or deck as an affect of a card you (or your opponent) controls, you may play this card at no mana cost."
Thanks for you time,

Oh, I almost forgot! I think that the Eldergod Highlander playing style sounds really good though I don't know if players will be more or less willing to play since the game may take a long time to play out. This game seems to be built around luck of the draw and spur of the moment strategy rather then carefully planned out theme decks. The 40 life seems a little high for a one on one match but maybe you'll need that time to draw something good. I guess this could be balanced out by drawing 10 or 11 cards during the initial start of the game rather than seven because there is going to be a higher chance of drawing only lands or no lands at all. So, yeah, this little teak should make this style pretty solid.
So, keep up the good work Ron!

p.s. my thoughts for combo of the week are:
Greater Auramancy + Enchanted Evening + Fracturing Gust
